The most beautiful beaches near the finca

The most beautiful beaches near the finca

Finca Mia Limon lies in the green heart of Mallorca near Algaida – not right on the sea, but within easy reach of some of the island’s finest beaches. The nearest are on the south coast, around 30 to 40 minutes away via Llucmajor and Campos.

Cala Pi (approx. 30 min)

The closest spot for a swim is also one of the most picturesque: Cala Pi is a narrow cove framed by high cliffs, with fine sand and old boat houses. Sheltered, quiet and ideal for a relaxed beach day.

Es Trenc (approx. 35–40 min)

Es Trenc is Mallorca’s longest natural beach – fine white sand, Caribbean-turquoise water and dunes instead of a row of hotels. The beach lies within a nature reserve, so infrastructure here is deliberately minimal. Expect a parking fee of around €7 per day and bring what you need for the day. That very wildness is exactly what makes it special.

Sa Ràpita and Colònia de Sant Jordi (approx. 35–40 min)

If you prefer things a little quieter, head to S’Arenal de Sa Ràpita just west of Es Trenc – the same water quality, fewer crowds. A little further on lies Colònia de Sant Jordi, with a harbour, several beaches and amenities for the whole day; the boats to the uninhabited island of Cabrera also depart from here.

A day trip to the east coast

The famous little calas of the east coast – such as Caló des Moro or the coves around Cala d’Or and Santanyí – are not a neighbouring beach: realistically they are 45 to 60 minutes’ drive away. Well worth it all the same, ideally planned as a relaxed day trip.

A tip: come early in the morning or in the late afternoon. That’s when the loveliest beaches are quietest, the light is at its best – and at popular spots like Es Trenc you’ll find a parking space far more easily.
